Reduce, reuse and that other one. =)
This is the last Thing-a-Day post 'til next year.. but I will attempt to make a post every day still! So keep tuned!

If you're a nerd like me, you know these are in a lot of RPG video games. I found these little bottles and had to have them. They're filled with water and food coloring. I closed them off with some super glue... but forgot that super glue sort of fogs glass. Oh well, it looks like wax.
Thanks for looking! =)
This took WAY longer than I expected but I think it turned out pretty good. I sketched the design out with some taylor's chalk then gave it two coats of Tulip Soft Fabric Paint. If anyone wants to try something like this, I recommend making sure you have something between the front and back layers of fabric and also letting the paint dry completely before adding a second coat. Two coats look much brighter than one.
I also hemmed the bottom and made a little belt. The belt still needs a second coat of paint, but it's past my bed time.
Thanks for looking! =)
I threw this together as fast as I could tonight. I did not make the sleeves as long as I wanted to though. Sort of didn't follow my pattern on that. I modded them from 11" to 9" and didn't make the radius as large due to the fact that I just free handed the sleeve onto some wrapping paper for the pattern.
My next plan is to paint a design on the fabric. I'm feeling intimidated but I think I can pull it off.
Thanks for looking! =)
Catching up. I'm still a day behind. I've got an idea for a dress but I couldn't quite find the fabric I want. I'm going to attempt to paint a pattern on the dress, but first it must be made! I'm being picky about the shape too... I hope this all works out. Made my own pattern since the McCall's pattern I wanted to use was out of stock. Thanks for looking! =)
Created a 3D version of the living room. I don't own the majority of this furniture but I'd like to know how it'd fit for when I can afford it! =)
Thanks for looking!
I was going to work on this longer, but then Corel Painter decided, "You know what would be awesome? If I just CRASHED like RIGHT NOW." I didn't think it was very fun, but I suppose I'd worked on it long enough. The proportions are a bit off in the beginning because I made the rookie mistake of not sketching it first.... I corrected it towards the end the best I could. Not my best work. Also, the free video recorder I just downloaded for it had it's settings to 70% quality. Aye aye aye... You live, you learn. =)

Finished the puppy harness for Sophie. I went to the thrift store and found an old leather purse for 3 bucks. Worked great! I have plenty of leather left over too. Maybe I'll make some bracelets or something.
Thanks for looking! =)
Haven't baked this yet. It's actually just one bobby pin from 2 angles combined in 1 picture. I'd like to make more, but perhaps tomorrow! I want to bake this one first to see if it holds up ok. It's super thin!
Thanks for looking =)
Anyway, I guess it's fitting I post this on the 13th. I'll do better tomorrow!
I also have been thinking about how to decorate the living room for awhile. I threw some stuff together in photoshop. It'll require me painting three 20x24 canvases though. I'll wait 'til I can get some on sale I suppose. *impatient* =)
Today's thing is not that creative. It's something I've wanted to make for awhile though. These are cheap to buy, but I never found a red one. It's just a simple fabric contraption to hold plastic bags. I measured it out 20" tall by 18" wide (the circumference of the bag). I just sort of winged it. It's not hard at all to make if you know a bit about sewing. But there is a tutorial here if anyone is interested.
Second time making enchiladas. They turned out pretty good, but we tried a different kind of enchilada mix... not my favorite. Anyone like Las Palmas?
